About Kisumu
Kisumu is Kenya's third-largest city and the second-largest city in the Lake Victoria Basin after Kampala. Located on the northeastern edge of the Winam Gulf at an elevation of 1,131 m (3,711 ft), it is known as the 'Lakeside City' and serves as the cultural centre of the Luo people.
